Review of Bound (1996) by Joe E — 12 Jul 2009

While the movie was a decently well made crime movie the problem was the fact that it seemed like i'd already seen it before. Sure, it wasn't with lesbians but the story seemed very familiar. Just because it has lesbians doesn't make the movie better.

It does help though. The two lead actresses did give very strong performances as did the guy who was the husband. I don't remeber his name. While I do like the matrix movies, this movie is not the Matrix.

So that means i'm not in love with this mvoie. But I will say that even though the story is uninteresting the movie was well-made and beutifully shot, it can't help but fall through the bland story.

Decent but not what I was looking for.
