Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Patrique M — 01 Jan 2009
Uneven, but overall satisfying little movie. Alan Rickman again impresses, as he does in almost everything he does, as a snob wine merchant from Paris putting together a blind wine tasting competition involving Napa Valley wines against the best France has to offer.
Script is uneven, going off track at some points, but the acting and the happy ending save it in the end.
