Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Christy H — 19 Mar 2009
Started off a little rough, haphazard, both in script and in style. Finds a pace about half way through the second act, and although predictable and a little trite, it's still enjoyable with nice performances all around. I would have liked a little more out of the Gustavo / Bo relationship, but the nice wide shots of Northern California wine country were very pretty and not afraid of their lens flare. Worth a rental...
P.S. Why does Flixter indicate Danny DeVito as a cast member? Not related to this movie at all, as far as I (and IMDB) are aware...
