Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Eric H — 29 Apr 2009
Alan Rickman was my only favorite part of this movie. It wasn't a bad movie, it just left me with a tasteless feeling in my mouth. As a historical movie it was like a nice movie documentary, with comedy international comedy quibs from Alan Rickman, playing a British Wine Conisseiur in France.
I love his role as a stuck up wine snob, not respected in the field he holds too. All other roles though seemed way to uptight, especially Chris Pine! Come on seriously let loose. But hey overall it was a movie I wouldn't pay money to see, but would definitely show in an American History class that had a day off to fool around on.
