Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Sandy K — 11 Sep 2009
A bit slow-moving at first, but ultimately a sweet story. Based on the historical blind taste-test in the 1970s when California wines surpassed French wines, the plot revolves on a Napa vintner and his slacker son -- their struggles to produce the best wine and meet each other's expectations.
Terrific cast all around, and all the Doobie Brothers music made me smile.
