Review of Bottle Shock (2008) by Luke B — 23 Apr 2010
OK, maybe the medicinal brownie I ate made me like the movie more than I normally would have but I found this movie quite enjoyable and touching. AND I DON'T EVEN DRINK ALCOHOL. I think wine tastes like a perfectly good glass of grape juice that someone pissed into.
The movie just made me wish I could appreciate a fine glass of wine the way everyone else seems to be able to do. Oh well, I'll just stick to brownies now and then. The only thing I didn't really like was Bill Pullman's character.
.. one of his poorer efforts and the fact that he played a violent bitter broken down asshole didn't really help either.
