Could have been a lot more light hearted. Entertaining in parts, slow and overly dramatic in others. A lot of cliched characters...the plucky minority, the unmotivated son and his serious father, the spunky, attractive, young female and the snooty Brit.
Wine isn't a heavy subject...and a unique event like The Paris Tasting of 1976 would've made for a great quirky comedy.
