Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Benton C — 05 Jun 2008
Disappointing. Definitely a "first film" from Wes Anderson, who is a director I really enjoy. I suppose you'd classify Bottle Rocket as an anti-heist film, but it just made it boring. I couldn't get into the story and the characters' relaionships fell flat.
It's worth seeing if only to see how far Anderson has come since then.
