Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Dave K — 21 Jul 2009
Though I can see how this brand of humor may not be appealing to certain tastes, I find this film to be absolutely hilarious. While it could do without the love story, which tends to slow the film down rather than add emotional depth, this film is still a classic, and probably Wes Anderson's best film along with Rushmore.
Owen Wilson does his best work here as the inept dreamer Dignan. This film oozes style.
