Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Cam O — 03 Feb 2014
In Wes Anderson's directing debut, we see the unique directorial themes that he portrays in almost every one of his films. The problem at hand with Bottle Rocket, is that it can't seem to find its way of making the transition of a short film to a full length film.
The feeling of a short film is present, resulting in a strong beginning and end, but with no interesting filling to make this film nothing more than a quirky, fun, yet sloppy performance by Anderson and the Wilson's.
