Review of Bottle Rocket (1996) by Dan T — 24 Aug 2010
Positives: Owen and Luke Wilson are great and hilarious. The actors including James Caan, Lumi Cavazos and Donny Caicedo are perfect in their roles. It didn't matter what the story was because any situation they were in would be funny. Which brings me to the negatives.
Negatives: It was a weak plot but luckily the charators were funny enough to overlook this only weakness.
Overall: Definitely recommend this to Wes Anderson fans everywhere and even the non-Wes Anderson fans because this film can reach a broader audience because it is a little less weird than most of the films he makes.
