Review of Born to Kill (1947) by Shannon S — 13 Sep 2007
I was so drawn into this movie. The raw sexual energy coming from Sam is unreal, at once dangerous and intoxicating. His pride issues get annoying and unrealistic, but he is a man who knows what he wants and takes it.
There was something in the woman's character that spoke to me as well, a susceptibility to evil and cold-heartedness that must be fought off or else you lose your soul. Goodness me though, some hot scenes between the forbidden lovers and I really enjoyed the depth of characters and tense action.
Good good good.
