Review of Born to Kill (1947) by Andrew C — 10 Sep 2009

This was a good movie about a man, Sam, who commits a double-murder and leaves town so as to not get caught; only to get involved with a woman, Helen, who's true motives show to be a bit shaky. On one hand, she could easily rat him out as the killer because it's the right thing to do; but she's so completely infactuated with Sam's good looks and strong personality that she might choose to help him.

This causes Helen's own personality to change from someone kind and warm to, as they described, an iceberg of a woman. It made for a good oldtime suspense.
