If you ever want to see an emotionally draining movie that includes every stereotype from Vietnam then you should watch this movie. It's supposed to be a true story so maybe this is where the stereotypes come from.
Note: Cruise sports an awesomely disgusting rat-stache in this flick, and Kyra Sedgwick was even uglier in the 80's.
