William Wyler foreshadowed it all. It's a shame what this country did to its own people. Way to go patriotism. It has nothing to do with believing in the country. It has everything to do with loving people.

The film shows that both sides turned their backs on veterans at one point or another. It makes me want to tell all the loud voices in the world, all the angry ones, those people who just spread what Nixon called "rhetoric that will divide the country," to stop.

Just stop. Don't people understand how easy that is? To stop? People who claim christianity yell and spread dissension while other believers (the real ones) spread love. And the other side does it all as well.

Screw politics. Screw parties. Screw choosing any damn side. What does it matter? To divide is to destroy. Just love and then you'll find a reward.
