So I used to think Cruise's best performance was Magnolia.... not anymore. This is by far his best. Playing a Vietnam Vet, mostly after the war. The hospitals, going home, getting shunned, demonstrations.
Revalations that the war shouldn't have happened in the first place. Only loses a star for how utterly depressing it is, but I guess it had to be. One of Stone's best and a must see.
