Review of Born on the Fourth of July (1989) by Wadzanai N — 14 Nov 2012
Is a propaganda film for Marxism but I love it anyway. It's certainly right about its primary premise: the Vietnam War was a mistake. But not for the reasons it gives. The unpopularity of the Vietnam War opened the door wide for Marxists to poison the minds of American youth.
They couldn't have been more successful. Now we have a citizenry that is morally bankrupt and feels entitled, a bloated government seizing more and more power everyday, and the successful eradication of family and the middle class.
It all has its roots here, in the 1960s, the beginning of the end for America. Consider this very well made film a victory lap for lefties.
