Review of Born on the Fourth of July (1989) by Aasheesh S — 20 Feb 2013
According to me this is the best Oliver Stone film ever. A greatest performance for Tom Cruise who really deserved the Oscar for the film. A death defining acting. Wonderful move. One of the best War film ever made.
A great performance from Tom Cruise.A more honest account this time from Stone which shows the brutal reality of the Vietnam war, it?s far superior to Platoon. This movie left me shaken and choked up! It pays homage to The Best Years of Our Lives and perhaps some other films about vets returning home.
Sad and warming at the same time. A Must Watch film.
