Tackles a powerful subject, but something never clicked for me, cruise films are usually always films I love but I just found it hard to identify despite the accolades this movie has bestowed upon it. strange as I can see why so many people do hold a special place for this movie, but never reaches me on a level that it would perhaps if I had grown up during the vietnam conflict.
poigniant and powerful but not always engaging.
