A weak anti-war spectacle by Oliver Stone - Platoon was much better. Though it is a true story and it made me feel bad for Ron Kovic, it was just a downer that did not succeed at portraying this strong Democratic message.
I didn't care for Tom Cruise in this role and for me, the only redeeming quality of this movie was the genius score composed by John Williams.
