Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Matthew H — 10 Jun 2007
I was mad when this beat out "Super Size Me", but once I saw it, I understood why. This documentary has more warmth and more life than most mainstream films. It is a fascinating story of hope, full of personality and excitement.
It shows how one person making one tiny effort can make a huge impact. A beautiful film.
