Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Jacob B — 24 Sep 2007
The story is touching and plainly just very sad. It's main purpose was to bring the plight of these children to the limelight and in this regard Born Into Brothels succeed tremendously, but on the practical level of whether or not the making of the documentary actually bettered the lives of the children is up in the air.
The positive effects are questionable.
