Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Kyle Y — 08 Nov 2007
Great film. I was stuck by the beauty that emerges in the midst of heartache and tragedy. As a pastor, I am struck by how this film illustrates so much of what is true in this world. Too often, Christians find it is easy to use terms like "salvation" and "redemption" with a casual familiarity that betrays an ignorance of the depth of humanities brokenness and need for true redemption.
"Born into Brothels" will not let you get away with that.
