Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Erika M — 15 Jan 2010
The poverty stricken kids in this country can't compare to what these children have to go through. Most of them are doomed and will end up just like their parents. Education is the only chance they have at a decent life and its not guaranteed.
These kids show courage, desire and pure desperation to have a better life. Kudos to Zana Briski for being the primary sole who helped to give most of them to opportunity of a lifetime.
