Review of Borderland (2007) by Jimmie H — 20 Oct 2008
Not just a horror film, but a crime drama/thriller as well. Everything about this movie was well done. Excellent acting from everyone, including Sean Astin, who made one helluva bad guy. Even Rider Strong, who normally gets on my nerves does a very convincing job.
The movie was very realistic, from the dialogue to the acting to the scenery to the story itself. There is a dark and gritty feel to the movie, that only adds to the feeling of inevitable horror. I have no idea why this movie hasn't gotten more attention than it has gotten.
Highly recommended.
