Gave it 4 stars but probably one of the toughest movies I've endured. Mean spirited. Brutal. Genuinely disturbing. Not much fun. Points for being affecting. If you want nasty you got it. I cannot overstate how disturbing this film turns out to be.
On the plus side, Sean Astin's performance was a revelation. Based on a true story that's actually freakier than what ends up on film.
