Review of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006) by Jordan A — 02 Nov 2012
Though an entire comedic sequence left me rolling my eyes, Borat is still an enjoyably offensive, funny satire of many different cultures and sub-cultures. Some jokes made me roll my eyes, while others left me laughing out loud.
It's uneven, but most of the jokes end up hitting. Though this movie certainly isn't meant for everyone, people who like raunchy, honest satire will certainly enjoy this.
