Borat is a wildly offensive and often hilarious movie, but its too jumbled around and irritating. The film has a home video, cheap look to it that makes sense but when it is coupled with Cohen's very annoying accent and the very loose plot, it makes the movie hard to follow and seem uncoordinated.

There were fascinating points where the movie exposed many concerning prejudices that exist in the US and it was interesting to see people's reactions. As a social statement it's brilliant, but as a movie it's too dull and flimsily put together.
