Awful. The beginning of the Eddie Murphy decline. Let's fact it - he's an action/comedy star, he's not suited to romantic post-1980s message movies. The only good films Murphy has made since are the Shrek movies and Bowfinger.
Boomerang is down in the gutter with Beverly Hills Cop III, Vampire In Brooklyn, Doctor Dolittle and a whole heap of terrible films he made in the 1990s and 2000s.
