Review of Booksmart (2019) by Lamontraymond — 22 May 2019
It's a really good movie, though totally different from any other "classic" teen movie - mostly due to the fact that almost nobody is mean to anyone else. There are no a-holes. The jocks and popular kids don't inflict physical and emotional pain on the sympathetic smart kids.
All that being said, it does a great job exploring the main pair's friendship. And the casting of the supporting cast is right on.
