Review of Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000) by Mayara T — 22 Apr 2012

I saw this around the time all of the hype was dying down and remembering how I liked it because it expanded the Blair Witch mythology out quite a bit but due to the random editing it's really hard to enjoy it with constant flashbacks and flash forwards and random flashes of victims being murdered.

I admit the Esrever feature on the DVD back in the day made me appreciate it a bit more and even today I still think it's a pretty okay film with everything given. If for no other reason than nostalgia.

I really hoped they'd release a Blair Witch 3 to complete a trilogy and even now I don't see why they didn't try a 3rd because the 2nd one wasn't really all that bad, it was just the editing in my opinion.
