You could be forgiven for a moment for thinking that taking this franchise back out of the found footage and bringing a reality-twisting take on it would make it better. You'd be forgiven because you'd be wrong.

This does not work and cheapens itself to any other slasher of the early millennium, how this film got a theatrical release is beyond me. It's boring for the most part, contains people you don't even love to hate and a storyline that continues to confuse right through to the end - without ever once being thought to be clever.
