Review of Book Club (2018) by Larry S — 17 May 2018
Book Club has a target audience. Baby Boomers. And it serves it's audience well. It's an honest and very funny romantic comedy about seniors. And it's refreshing to see a movie about seniors that is not about dementia or alzheimers and no one has an incurable disease.
Aging is not used as a bad joke. The humor is real. One of the best comedies I have seen in a long time. Great to see Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen. And also great to see the men also.
Craig T Nelson, Andy Garacia and Don Johnson. The theater this morning was packed and every one was laughing.
