If Book Club can honestly be more than what it brings, then I could honestly consider it okay to recommend. Of course I found the film to be pretty generic for what it brings since anyone can make a movie about a book club and it'll be tons better than what Book Club delivers.
These longtime actresses deserved way more than just a generic film.
