The movie that made me a fan of Paul Thomas Anderson. One of my favorite ensemble casts in a film. Everyone shines in this film. Very insightful look, as well as a insightful period piece, into the world of pornography.
It's got style while being very human under the glamor. When it's all wrapped up into a collective film it works on all cylinders and reminds me you can have fun watching a really intense drama.
Brilliant.
