Wonderful flashback to the 70's and 80's! The characters are well developed and hit you deep with their emotions and wild circumstances. Each character develops with the changing decade, for better and for worse.
The movie keeps you intrigued until the very end epic scene, where we FINALLY get to see why everone was "so worked up" over Mark Wahlberg's ... unit. The movie kept it classy and trashy at the same time, dipping into different life experiences, and exposing the vile truth of life in the porn business.
.. when that actually meant something.
