Review of Boogie Nights (1997) by Justine M — 11 Aug 2010

This was an amazing movie. I was really pleasantly surprised. Not that I thought it would be bad, but I literally had no expectations going into it. The story line was very well done, the acting was phenomenal.

The cinematography and soundtrack were stunning, it really helped push the movie into a new category. I loved the way everything was shot, the single-shots throughout the film. Again, the actors did a fantastic job, the script was great.

So, basically I loved everything about this movie, haha. Of course, watch it with someone you're comfortable with because, needless to say, there's quite a bit of sex involved. Also drugs. And violence.
