Review of Boogie Nights (1997) by Eugenio T — 01 Oct 2011
Boogie Nights is less about the porn industry and more about a family trying to love each other against all odds. It's also the most complete movie I've seen. By the time the movie is ready to wrap it up, I felt like I'd seen everything a film can show you, but then the film ends on such a perfect note that it shoots it to legendary status.
It IS a long movie, but there's never any down time and the intro sequence is sure to get you invested for the long haul. There's no film I admire more than Boogie Nights.
