Review of Boogie Nights (1997) by Antonio A — 03 Nov 2012
Boogie Nights is a terrific and unusual coming of age story that combines effortlessly comedy, drama and camp without missing a beat. It's a testament to PTA's sheer genius as a director and writer to see such a thematically ambitious movie feel so tightly woven.
Robert Elswit lensing is simply outstanding, the long shots in particular giving the movie an unexpectedly grand atmosphere.
