Review of Boogie Nights (1997) by Luke M — 28 Dec 2014
I know i'm late to the party on this one. technically, PTA's direction and the acting is phenomenal all around; my only problem is that it kind of feels like Wolf of Wall Street before Wolf of Wall Street: simply trying to draw a light on a time and culture but instead gives you little plot or character development in what's really just a cheap excuse for nudity, drugs, and a hackneyed use of 70's pop soundtrack.
