Review of Boogeyman 2 (2007) by Sean C — 13 Jan 2008
Better than the original but then thats hardly a stretch. This is one of those movies where we are expected to be scared/thrilled with little reason as to why. With the youngsters with issues reminding of Elm Street Dream Warriors and a mask for the bad guy that was essentially the bunny from Donnie Darko on a bad hair day there is little than can be called original here.
It does score points for some gore and not being geared towards a teen audience. Just a shame the 'climax' just never seems to end.
