Review of Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016) by Katey W — 30 Aug 2017
I love Tyler Perry movies but this one fell flat. :/ I kinda feel like it's trying too hard to stay relevant. But the thing about his previous films is that it brought up problems most people face at some point in their lives. This one got nowhere with a spitting match over what generation does it better.
Beat your kids it's good for them, don't beat your kids or you'll have DSS at your door,... Can't we all just agree to disagree and realize there is more than one way to raise a child.
Anyway talking to them never hurts. you'd be surprised how far a little reasoning with them goes.
But that's not the point, and that's my point exactly. It completely missed the point of our current generational struggle. We are literally from different worlds and have a hard time seeing eye to eye. I feel like it shouldn't be addressed at all if you can't see both perspectives.
And on the humor side most of the jokes weren't funny.
