Superb and classic film that is as brutal as it is beautiful. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway are a fantastic pair, but Gene Hackman and Estelle Parsons hold their own and at times, threaten to take the spotlight away from the title characters.
Prose and violence are balanced very well in this great and important motion picture.
