Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Jonathan S — 15 Apr 2009
This movie symbolises the end of the studio system. Arthur Penn was bold and had a perfect ally in Warren Beatty. It's curious to hear that Beatty had Bob Dylan in mind for the role of Clyde when he read the script.
Whilst I would have loved to see Bob's attempt, it's hard to envisage Clyde as anyone but Wozza!
