Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Shane D — 29 Oct 2009
This movie helped form my fixation with the depression era south. People like to say that this movie glorified Bonnie and Clyde, but if anything it played down their exploits. Not that they weren't portrayed as heroes, but they were viewed that way in real life as well.
In a time when nobody had anything, people loved to hear stories about other people fucking over the banks that had fucked them over so badly. Kinda like now.
