Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Anna B — 30 Aug 2010
This movie completely changed the style of American movies forever (it was inspired a great deal by French New Wave) â?? in the way it was written and shot and edited, in the way it portrayed violence and sex, in the marriage of its gloomy and playful tones.
When it came out in 1967 it was unlike anything American audiences had ever seen. And even more than 40 years later it still stands up as amazing.
