Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Matthew A — 19 Oct 2010
I can't believe I'd never seen this film until now. I was amazed at how well done this film was; whatever film stock and however they shot the sequence when they visited Bonnie's mother is absolutely beautiful.
The characters in this are so interesting, the performers took many really organic turns that I didn't expect, and haven't seen much of in American films from the 60s. There were some cheesy parts, sure, but very rich in its human portrayal, as well as several laugh-out-loud moments.
