Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Sidney S — 23 Oct 2011
The Academy Award winning classic that tells the tale of a man and woman who fall in love and set out to rob banks. Bonnie and Clyde is an awesome gangster picture that is very accurate to the true story of some of America's most famous bank robbers Clyde Barrow and his gang which include his girlfriend Bonnie, his brother Buck and others.
Warren Beatty's performance completely stole the show, he was awesome as was Faye Dunaway. Her Bonnie was not even seen as a villian like Clyde more so a girl looking for a thrill and got caught up with the wrong man.
Gene Hackman's role as Clyde's brother Buck was also great in one of his earlier roles. This is a motion picture classic that must be viewed for fans of the gangster genre, fans of history and those who want to see a damned good movie.
