The movie is chilling and it is a classic for a reason. Its mood and atmosphere added to his modern western side make it entertaining.Further its compelling characters convey perfectly the spirit surrounding the original ones.
The romantic side of the saga of bonnie and Clyde is also great whith their recklessness and genuine affection for each other is felt and seen throughout the movie.This is probably why the ending looks so cruel as the audience get more and more attached to this dangerous gangster whereas they definitely know their upcoming and inevitable fate.
Another thing worth mentioning is the three outstanding performances deliver by warren Betty Faye Dunaway and Gene hackman.However it must be said that the realization though good is not exceptional which is felt especially by the editing sometimes and at time the story feel too simple with lack of depth and point .
It is still a Good watch nonetheless and for it s violent glamorous romantic and moody depiction of one of the most famous couple in American history.A classic to remember.
