First and foremost this is an magnificent story, a true classic. Quite gangstery, still romantic and powerful. Very hot leads makes it feel a bit romantified but they deliver and it does not ruin the film much.

The acting is very good, actually. Neat cinematagrophy is featured in this very true film, but it's also so very absurd and rugged. These people are terrible in most ways, but still very caring. There is something twisted in their minds, the way they feel and behave, but they stil got a lot of rightness in them. I find this is fascinating.

The film is never boring, the flow is good. Few things annoy me here, but car scenes speeded up is one thing The film is not THAT old. Still it feels very violent and graphic for being from the 60's. Dearing opening with the hot girl, faceshots, guns, etc - surely a very shocking film back then and probably very innovative. Plusses given by the great ending.
